- Professor Guillermo C. Bazan is a Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry, and Materials at UCSB. Professor Bazan obtained his Ph.D. from MIT under Nobel Laureate Richard Schrock and his Postdoc training under John Bercaw at Caltech. He is a pioneer of using conjugated polyelectrolytes for enhanced performances of organic field effect transistors, organic light emitting diodes, organic light emitting transistors and solar cells, as well as DNA and protein assays.
- Professor Qibing Pei is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at UCLA specializing in synthetic polymers. He worked successively as a senior chemist at UNIAX Corporation, Santa Barbara, CA, which was later merged into DuPont Display, a senior chemist at Imation Corporation, Santa Paul, MN, and a senior research engineer at SRI International, Menlo Park, CA. He has developed a number of electronic and electroactive polymers for applications in electro-optical and electro-mechanical devices, including light emitting diodes, polymer light emitting electrochemical cells, electroactive polymer artificial muscles, and biologically-inspired robots. His research interests cover a wide range of soft materials and span from material synthesis and processing to design of functional devices. He applies organic synthesis, polymer synthesis, solution-based processing and nanofabrication to discover novel polymers and multifunctional composites.

- Mr. Dan Bradbury isthe founder and Managing Member of BioBrit, LLC, a life sciences consulting firm and investment fund. Mr. Bradbury served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., from March 2007 until its acquisition by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in August 2012. From June 2006 until August 2012 he was a member of Amylin's board of directors. Mr. Bradbury served as Amylin's President (2006 to 2007), Chief Operating Officer (2003 to 2006) and Executive Vice President (2000 to 2003) and held a variety of sales and marketing positions (1994 to 2003). Before joining Amylin, Mr. Bradbury worked in marketing and sales roles for ten years at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals. He currently serves on the boards of directors of the following publicly-traded companies: Illumina, Inc., Geron Corporation, and BioMed Realty. Mr. Bradbury also serves on the board of trustees of the Keck Graduate Institute, the Investor Growth Capital Advisory Board, and the BioMed Ventures Advisory Committee. Mr. Bradbury currently serves on the University of California San Diego's Rady School of Management's Advisory Council and the University of Miami's Innovation Corporate Advisory Council. He received a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Nottingham University and a Diploma in Management Studies from Harrow and Ealing Colleges of Higher Education in the United Kingdom.
- Mr. Kenneth F. Daniels is the founding Principal at Acommence Advisors, Inc., a technology industry consultancy focused on business acceleration and velocity generation for start-up and mature organizations. Mr. Daniels brings over twenty years of sales, business development, strategy, strategic alliance and ecosystem development experience to the firm and his role in helping clients succeed. Mr. Daniels was the Senior Director of Strategic Alliances and Solutions, Enterprise Mobility Enablement for Samsung Telecommunications America, (STA).
- Mr. Harvey H. Bundy, III is the Partner and Portfolio Manager at William Blair & Company, LLC. Since 1998, he has been a Portfolio Manager at William Blair Investment Management, with responsibility for the portfolios of institutional clients focused on small and mid-cap stocks. From 1987 to 1997, Mr. Bundy served as the Director of Research at William Blair & Company's Research Department and as a Member of it's Executive Committee. He joined William Blair & Company in 1968, initially in the Corporate Finance Department. Mr. Bundy was transferred to research in 1970 and served as a Securities Analyst between 1970 and 1980. In 1980, he joined Combined Insurance Company of America (now Aon) as a Senior Vice President for corporate development. He has served as a Director at Safesite Corporation, The Ravenswood Corporation and Inforte Corp, and as a member of the Board of Overseers at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He is a C.F.A. charter holder. Mr. Bundy graduated from Yale University in 1966 and The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in 1968.
